PPI to Host HDPE Pipe Webinar

Nov. 14, 2008
Executive Director Tony Radoszewski to lead interactive Dec. 4 program

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe offers superior resistance to rust and abrasion as well as outstanding joint performance in pressure and nonpressure applications. It delivers exceptional value to all utilities, including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, fuel gas, conduit and plumbing and heating.

Join the Plastics Pipe Institute (PPI) at 10:30 a.m. CST on Dec. 4 for a live, one-hour webinar to learn more about the organization and the kinds of information it can share about this versatile pipe material and installation techniques. Find out how you can reduce expenses, minimize maintenance costs and save roads, water, sewer and storm water management piping systems from being undermined or possibly collapsing.

Participants need a telephone and a computer with Internet access. Calls are toll-free long distance, and speaker phone is recommended to amplify the audio portion. PPI also recommends an LCD projector and screen for viewing, but it is not mandatory, as participants can see the presentation on a computer monitor.

The format allows for personal interaction between participants and PPI's Executive Director Tony Radoszewski, who will answer questions and address topics of interest raised by teams.
