Patrick Lach, chair of the 2022 Illinois’ ASCE Report Card and member of the ASCE Committee for America's Infrastructure, shares how stormwater earned a "D" grade for the second time on the 2025 Report Card for America's Infrastructure. Lach discusses the grading criteria and shares how a national stormwater database and funding can assist with raising stormwater's grade. Additionally, Lach touches on how to build up stormwater resiliency.
