StormTrap LLC, a provider of storm water management systems, has entered into a licensing and manufacturing agreement with Speed Concrete Industries Sdn Bhd (SPEED). The long-term deal grants SPEED the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute the StormTrap product in Malaysia and Singapore.
Under the terms of the agreement, StormTrap also granted SPEED the first rights with respect to Indonesia and Philippines. Shinoe Construction Sdn Bhd, a sister company of SPEED, will be responsible for the design and marketing of the StormTrap product.
"We selected SPEED as our Southeast Asian partner for StormTrap because of their robust manufacturing and commercial capabilities," said David Plummer, president of StormTrap. "We believe that SPEED has the reach and expertise to serve this market."
