Oct. 7, 2013
Webcast rescheduled to Oct. 16th at 2 p.m. EST

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Watershed Academy Webcast on the new National Stormwater Calculator, originally scheduled for Oct. 2, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EST. Those that have already registered for this webcast will be sent a notice and will be automatically registered for this webcast on Oct. 16.

The National Stormwater Calculator is designed for anyone interested in reducing runoff from a property including: site developers, landscape architects, urban planners, homeowners and others. It can help users decide which storm water management practices to install such as a rain garden or a green roof. This calculator is a desktop application that estimates the annual amount of rainwater and frequency of runoff from a specific site anywhere in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico). Estimates are based on local soil conditions, land cover and historic rainfall records.
