This coming week, thousands of water professionals will be in Chicago for WEFTEC.13, for the Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference at Chicago’s McCormick Place. WEFTEC runs Oct. 5 to 9, and there will be plenty to see and do at the show, including several items of note for the storm water and erosion control industry.
The Stormwater Pavilion is a 6,000-sq-ft-space dedicated to storm water management products and services. The inaugural Stormwater Congress offers sessions, exhibits, a technical tour and networking opportunities for industry professionals, and technical session tracks include topics such as rainwater harvesting, green storm water practices, LID and sustainable municipal facilities. Seven facility tours will be taking place, giving participants the opportunity to see local facilities like the Stickney plant, which is implementing many sustainable practices.
