Storm Drain Gate

The Hydra Automatic Retractable Screen storm drain gate is patented and made of multiple high-strength polymer control vane blades that work independently to keep debris out of a storm drain system. As water in the street rises, the blades open automatically, but only enough to allow water to flow into the storm drain vault, while preventing trash from entering. The deformable structure is scalable to fit any size vault opening and includes an adjustable tension cable to control blade deflection based on location and requirements.
