Saddlebrook Marketplace uses corrugated metal pipes for storm water drainage needs

undefined

Construction of a new shopping center warranted a storm water runoff system that included both a retention pond manifold and detention system overflow. Along with the longer runs of pipe, all of the corrugated metal pipe had to be connected to a Type 4 concrete catch basin per ADOT standard detail C-15-30. To achieve this, three 42-in. tees were used to connect the longer runs of CSP.

For the 60-in. pipe, four 90 degree elbows and eight tees were used to assemble a six-barrel manifold with three 42-in. tees. This setup created an outlet to drain into a retention pond. In addition, the 48-in. pipe also made use of four 90 degree elbows and four teens to assemble a four-barrel run manifold.
