Three major flooding events necessitated new flood control measures at Kingwood High School.

Kingwood High School suffered through three major flooding events in three consecutive years – 2015, 2016, and perhaps, most notably during Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Following the floods, it became apparent that the school needed to overhaul its flood control efforts. That is where this project came in.
