It’s not too late to register for today’s free webinar, “Designing Storm Water Detention & Infiltration Systems using CMP - The What, Why & How!” hosted by Contech Engineered Solutions. The webinar will kick off at 2 p.m. Eastern.
The only sure way to eliminate storm water pollution is to eliminate storm water runoff. Detention systems are employed on a site to reduce the quantity of storm water runoff leaving a site by temporarily storing the runoff that exceeds a site’s allowable discharge rate and releasing it slowly over time. Infiltration systems are incorporated to reduce the volume of storm water runoff being discharged from a site. For the majority of these applications, corrugated metal pipe (CMP) is the “go-to” material for subsurface detention/infiltration.
In this webinar, Contech’s Detention Product Manager Gabe Weaver and Senior Storm Water Design Engineer Patrick Valentine will share detention and infiltration system design best practices. Participants will earn one Professional Development Hour.
