Overnight, Hurricane Nicole made landfall on Florida's eastern shore, becoming the first hurricane to hit the U.S. in November in nearly 40 years. Shortly after making landfall, Nicole weakened to a tropical storm. The hurricane hit at a time when many areas of Florida are still recovering from Hurricane Ian.
