At WEFTEC, Andrew Smith, national stormwater practice leader for Black and Veatch, sat down with SWS Managing Editor Katie Johns, to talk about asset management. Smith touched on the importance of it in regard to stormwater management, how it is becoming more broadly used in stormwater after traditionally only being used for water and wastewater purposes and what barriers he sees in implementing it.
