Thirsty Duck floating outlets and skimmers can achieve nearly constant discharge. Detention storage volume can be minimized up to 50%, depending on hydrologic characteristics, analysis method and regulatory agency criteria. They can be used in new construction or retrofit applications. In flood-prone areas, the excess system volume created can provide additional flood attenuation. In environmentally sensitive areas, the excess system volume created can provide additional pollution abatement.
