New Construction Applications

In 2006, Snohomish County, Wash., consolidated all operations to the Cathcart Regional Landfill Facility. Land availability was limited due to a sensitive wetland area and challenging site topography. By incorporating a Thirsty Duck patented floating outlet into the designs of basins B and C, the impact of expanded stormwater facilities was minimized and the amount of land available was maximized. The stormwater management division has monitored Thirsty Duck’s performance since 2008, and the data has demonstrated the TD series is reliable and accurate.
