Propex Names Director of Marketing for Geosolutions

Global geosynthetic and erosion control solutions company Propex Operating Co. LLC announced the appointment of Andy Durham, P.E., as director of marketing for geosolutions. Durham is a registered professional engineer with more than 16 years of experience in consulting, technical sales and product management in solutions for civil and geotechnical engineering applications.

As the director of marketing for geosolutions, Durham will focus on strategic initiatives that drive sales of innovative engineered solutions in the water management, earth stabilization, transportation and energy and resources segments across the globe. Durham will manage market segment leaders and bring emphasis to value-add relationships with engineer, contractor, distributor and end-use owner partners in the industry. Durham also looks forward to developing unique approaches to installation and performance guarantees of Propex solutions.

Durham began working for Propex in 2011 as an engineering specialist. He advanced to technical sales before his most recent position as the product manager for erosion control solutions. Durham is recognized within the industry as a thought leader, with involvement in the International Erosion Control Assn., Geosynthetic Materials Assn. and other organizations.
