Oldcastle Infrastructure announced two appointments to their leadership team. Chad Moore joined the leadership team as central region president. In this role he holds responsibility for leading the Central Region team in attaining growth and people-related objectives. Stephen Fancher joined the leadership team as president of the East Region. Stephen will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, leading safety culture, and driving commercial and operational excellence.
Restoration + Recovery Names New CEO
Restoration & Recovery (R+R) announced that it has named Richard Matero as CEO. Matero joins R+R from CBRE FacilitySource, the leading outsourced facility services company, where he served as CFO for five years. Richard guided FacilitySource from seven to nine-figure revenue and was integral to the company’s acquisition by CBRE in 2018.
Plastic Pipe Conference Announces Dates for 2019 Event
The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) announced the Plastic Pipe Conference will be held April 16 to 17, 2019, outside of Philadelphia. The event will offer 23 technical and case history presentations focusing on water, sewer and gas system applications, as well as new developments in areas such as composite plastic pipe. Continuing education content is designed for civil, environmental, and mechanical engineers, and technicians and managers, involved in the design, specification, construction, and operation of plastic piping systems.
Stantec Welcomes Three Water Experts
Stantec welcomes three strategic hires to its growing Tri-State Water practice in response to rising priorities in the local market. Saeid Rashidi joins the company as senior principal, tunneling and trenchless engineering practice manager. In his role, he specializes in the structural design of above and below-ground structures, including soft ground tunneling, hard rock tunneling, water and wastewater tunnels, transportation tunnels, and tunnel rehabilitation. Mark Bartlett joins the company as senior networks engineer. With more than 10 years of experience, he is an established thought leader in resilience adaption with a strong background in statistical analysis, modeling, and project management. Fletcher McKenzie joins the company as senior networks engineers. McKenzie brings expertise in hydraulic modeling and water and wastewater engineering.
In-Situ Inc. Acquires Chemscan Inc.
In-Situ Inc. announced that it acquired ChemScan Inc., formerly known as ASA Analytics. The acquisition will expand In-Situ’s ability to serve process applications, including municipal and industrial wastewater, drinking water and other industrial water process markets. Concurrent with the acquisition, ASA Analytics has changed its name to ChemScan Inc. The company will continue operations in Wisconsin and operate as ChemScan, an In-Situ company.

This fully staffed and factory-certified center will provide Cues customers with direct access to all levels of customer service, loaner equipment support and new equipment sales. Catch Basin Filter Receives NJCAT Verification
Bio Clean Catch Basin Filters have received NJDCAT verification. The company hired an independent lab to perform testing on the filter and testing exceeded expectations. The overall TSS removal efficiency was 86.6%. More than 70 individual test runs were completed and approximately 200 lb of sediment captured, proving it can operate effectively over an extended period of time with minimal maintenance requirements.
DSBB Receives NJCAT Verification
Bio Clean’s Debris Separating Baffle Box (DSBB) has received NJCAT verification. The DSBB has proven pollutant removal rates of 100% trash and debris down to 5 mm in size at a specified flow rate. The standard design is full capture certified unlike other baffle boxes which have to deviate from their standard product offering to meet this specification.
