Hobas Pipe Announces Promotion
Hobas Pipe USA announced the promotion of Rene R. Garcia, P.E. to vice president of Engineering in their Houston headquarters. Garcia joined Hobas in 2001 and has served as engineering supervisor since 2009. His supervisory responsibilities have included plans and specifications reviews, and providing technical support to the Hobas sales team, consulting engineers, contractors and owners.
Profile Products Announces Promotion
Profile Products announced the promotion of Matt Skinner to national sales manager for the western U.S. division. He will provide support to Profile’s western team of regional sales managers and market development managers, ensuring they have what they need to best service Profile’s customers. He will begin his new role effective immediately.
Signet Creates New Division
Private investment firm Signet LLC has announced that it has formed a new Chemical Specialties Division, a platform that will include four of its chemical manufacturing/service companies. The platform will be overseen by Kevin Williams, who was recently hired as president of the Chemical Specialties Division. The four companies in the platform include Sprayroq, Sprayroq of China, Creative Polymer Solutions, and Blue Grass Chemical Specialties.
IECA Region One Elects Board of Directors President
The International Erosion Control Assn. (IECA) Region One recently elected Adam Dibble, CPESC, CESSWI, to serve as the 2019 to 2021 board president. Dibble’s term will begin at the IECA Annual Conference, February 19-22, 2019.
Dibble has been a member of IECA Region One since 2009 and is an active member of the Great Lakes IECA chapter. He has served on the board of directors since 2017 and has acted as the vice president of marketing during his term. Dibble has chaired committees to deliver state-based education to members and directed the rebranding of IECA. In addition, he has been active with the Save Our International Soil (SOIL) committee for many years.
Dibble is the senior marketing and erosion control brand manager for Profile Products. Storm Water Solutions magazine named Dibble “Rising Star” in 2016. IECA recognized Dibble in 2017 as the Outstanding Professional of the Year. Sigma Pi Fraternity gave Dibble their Young Professional Achievement award in 2018.
