Next week, Storm Water Solutions will be at the U.S. Water Alliance’s 3rd annual Urban Water Sustainability Leadership Conference in Cincinnati. The meeting will address the shift away from grey infrastructure and toward green solutions in water and wastewater, and will showcase five U.S. cities that are models of innovation: Cleveland; Denver; Kansas City, Mo.; Syracuse, N.Y.; and Tucson, Ariz.
The conference is relatively new, but the ideas are not. Green infrastructure and resource recovery have been around for quite some time, but it is only recently that they have gained a wider audience as businesses and utilities start examining new ways to comply with regulations, conserve resources and save money.
SWS will be looking out for interesting news and developments at the conference, so make sure to check www.estormwater.com and our social media channels for updates.
