LID Research & Innovation Symposium Calls for Abstracts

Abstract deadline is Feb. 2, 2014

The Great Plains LID Research and Innovation Symposium will be April 2 to 4, 2014 in Tulsa, Okla., and is requesting abstracts for presentations and posters. There will be three tracks offered:

  • Research: Includes field, laboratory or modeling investigations related to LID applications.
  • Applied: Includes practical and innovative applications of LID including engineering, architectural or other design aspects.
  • Policy: Includes existing and proposed policy solutions related to LID regulation, implementation, education and roadblocks.

The forum and agenda for the Great Plains LID Symposium is designed to maximize interaction between all attendees with extended breaks for poster viewing, vendor contacts and informal discussion.

Those who would benefit from this symposium include: landscape designers, landscape architects, architects, storm water regulators, municipal officials, engineers, students, teachers, developers, city planners and researchers.

Abstract deadline is Feb. 2, 2014.

The conference will be held at the Hard Rock Conference Center and will be highlighted by the finals presentations of the Green Country LID Design Competition. Optional Poker and Golf Tournaments will take place around the conference. A student poster contest is also planned.
